MISSION
To provide education and support to families and friends who have been affected by a loved one's substance use.
Substance use disorder, commonly known as addiction, is a disease that takes a toll on the entire family. If your loved one, regardless of his/her age, is or has been using drugs or alcohol, you may feel alone and may not be sure where to turn for support.
The Mom of an Addict, Inc. is here to help. We understand the struggle families face when a loved one is battling addiction. We understand because we’ve been there, too.
Our organization offers support group meetings where you will learn about the disease of substance use disorder and will be surrounded by other individuals who have a family member who is currently using, who love someone who is incarcerated due to substances, have lost someone to this horrific disease, or who have a loved one in recovery.
You are welcome here. Moms, dads, uncles, aunts, siblings, children, grandparents, friends… whoever you are, wherever you are, we are here to love you through this journey and to remind you there is always HOPE.
